It slowly got quiet.
Edit:
Okay, so I think I’ve made a mistake with the point of this joke.
As such, I’ve changed the quote on the last panel.
The point I was trying to get at, was that cats swallow and digest their food without chewing. Previously, I believe I gave people the impression that cats swallow their prey whole while it’s alive.
Yep, that’s not true and was a miscommunication on my part.
I’ll be sure to make my point clearer the next time.
When it comes to prey, they don’t swallow the damn thing whole, but they do bite chunks of meat big enough to swallow.
They kill their prey too, of course.
Hope this clears things up!

Today I learn something, than realize it was wrong than learn it correctly again. Thanks for the description x) I would have look at my cat weirdly if you didn’t explain it x)
My wife’s childhood cat used to find and eat baby mice whole.. she saw it do that on several occasions.. so, umm, yeah..
RANDO YOUR THE GREATEST. (Could do with more) but I have been drawing lately and I think your stuff is really cool.
Thanks
Change “chewing” to “thorough mastication!”
Or not.
I just wanted to make a “mastication” joke :3
Today’s mouse if tomorrow’s cat poop.
My cat actually swallowed a lizard whole, once. She regretted it like Hell for the rest of the day and she never ate a lizard ever again.
What was the old quote?
Mine plays with it while slowly killing
it
That’s pretty brutal
Mine cracks the mouse’s skull before feasting through his ribs, leaving the skin behind. I don’t know which is worse.
